One of the first apprenticeship placements ATEL made was with Phil Hanel in the 1980s. As the Hanel building enterprise grew so did the headcount of ATEL apprentices within it. Phil Hanel took on over 60 apprentices through ATEL's Group Training program. Two such apprentices were his sons. Leon and David Hanel have continued their father's loyalty to ATEL's Group Training service. Phil's grandson Kelvin Hanel is currently completing his apprenticeship within the family business, through the ATEL Group Training program of course. Phil Hanel gladly shares his steadfast loyalty to ATEL in a candid testimonial.
