APPRENTICES TRAINEES EMPLOYMENT LIMITED
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY

It is the policy of Apprentices Trainees Employment Limited to provide and maintain, so far as practicable, a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and members of the public. Apprentices Trainees Employment Limited is pursuing excellence in the workplace and to this end actively seeks an alliance between all staff at all levels to actively achieve and maintain high standards of health and safety in our working environment.

The company is committed to eliminating hazards and prevention of incidents and injuries in the workplace environment. The Managing Director is responsible for the implementation and monitoring of this policy. In fulfilling the objectives of this policy, all levels of Management including all Field Officers are committed to regular consultation with employees to ensure that the policy operates effectively, and that health and safety issues are regularly reviewed. The company is also committed to ensuring all employees receive the appropriate training, instruction and information to carry out their work tasks and duties. Host Employers through their contractual obligations, will be responsible for the health and safety of the apprentices, trainees and labour hire employees, in their care, on a day-to-day basis.

All employees at every level are expected to fully accept responsibility for their own safety and for the safety of those with whom they work. There will be no place in the organisation for an unsafe employee.

The company will ensure that all policies and procedures are periodically reviewed and remain consistent with company health and safety objectives. As part of the induction program each employee will be provided with a copy of the company’s Occupational Health and Safety Policy.
